About Me
Ana Pinheiro (b. Santarém, 1989) is an architect, artist and designer who creates spaces that have a narrative and intend to improve human living.
She likes to treat spaces like something that has to have a soul. Her work starts from a profound thinking about the surroundings, light and materials, creating emotions and identity. She refers to architecture like something that humans can relate and feel.
She respects the past of each space, however transforming them into something new with a profound sensivity to the character of the existing.
Ana completed a Master Degree in Architecture in Instituto Superior Técnico, in Lisbon, living and working there for seven years, until she discovers the beauty of Algarve, where she lives at the moment. In Algarve, she worked with a very high quality architecture office named Marlene Uldschmidt, where she had the opportunity to work with a very skilled team, like Ana Filipa Santos and Alexandra Jacinto architects, until she left and starts her handicraft brand. The main architect, Marlene Uldschmidt is still a big inspiration for me, and she is very grateful because she was the one who really showed her what architecture is about. She had the opportunity to work in some beautiful projects like Casa dos Mores, Art Gallery in Ferragudo, and the Black Forest House in Germany.
Desafio Studio is the beginning of a dream.
