Founded by Ana Pinheiro in 2019, Desafio Studio is driven by the conviction that every project embodies a story deserving to be expressed through the interplay of space, light, and form. Architecture is more than building, it is the art of creating atmospheres. Spaces should embrace people through the interplay of light and shadow, the harmony of materials and colours, and the evocation of feelings and sensations. Each project is shaped by a profound respect for nature, a love of design, and a deep understanding of people needs. The primary goal is to conceive and develop concepts and projects that seek to transform these inspirations into meaningful spaces, resonating with both beauty and purpose.
Desafio Studio has had the opportunity to collaborate on inspiring projects alongside talented teams, including DRAF arquitectos, Vasco Teixeira arquitetos, Malata Arquitetura, Kepha (Engenharia, Gestão de projeto e fiscalização), FGP Engenharia and Lar Seguro (Promoção imobiliária).

Final project essay “Projecto Urbano para Benfica, Recriar o sentido do espaço público“.
My first contact with architecture project was in 2008, when I embraced the challege of collaborate as an architecure student in Atelier dos Remédios in Lisbon.
In this office I collaborated in some projects like Escola Rainha Dona Leonor and Monte do Córrego.
In 2015 I traveled to the south of Portugal to work with Marlene Uldschmidt Architects.
Here, I collaborated in the renovation of a historic building in Ferragudo Centre, the Galeria Vasco da Gama 26, which was an Architecture Masterprize Winner Architectural Design of the year 2021 in the Restoration/Renovation category, longlisted in Dezeen Awards 2020 and featured on Architizer in 2020.
I also collaborated in the architecture project of Casa dos Mores, Villa Petra and Black Forest House, between so many other projects.
After that, I also had the opportunity to work with a very talented architect named Hugo Raposo, where I collaborated in some projects mostly as a designer.
Desafio Studio is the beginning of a dream!
